Operation | Attack a target at Ostend |
Reason for Loss | Airborne 1835 hrs. On return from Ostend, crashed 1959 hrs at Manor Farm, Little Plumstead, 5 miles NE of Norwich, Norfolk. Eye witnesses say that just before the crash, the crew released a flare and as the Blenheim circled, it collided with the tops of some trees. May have turned back given the time of the crash being more than an hour before the other aircraft returned. |
