Miscellaneous Information
Born 8 July 1916, Dewsbury, Yorkshire. His father Charles died in 1920 and his mother Sophia was living in Haverhills, Spenborough, Yorks in 1939. Harold was educated at Heckmondwike Grammar School and St. Pauls School, Cheltenham. He was a school teacher, in 1939 he was living in Browning Road, Mexborough, Yorkshire and was employed as a teacher. After they marriage he and Ada lived in Norton Road, Morecombe. After his death Ada was working as a clerical officer in the civil service and lived at Ada Lewis House, Dalmeny Avenue, Islington, Middx. |
