Reason for Loss | Flying low under a cloud, it nose-dived into a field at Dorrington, close to Digby, south of Lincoln. A second airman, P/O H.A.C. Bird-Wilson was injured but managed to extricate himself and make his way to a nearby farmhouse. The aircraft belonged to 4 ERFTS |
