Reason for Loss | Attended a dance at RAF Killingholme and was hitching a ride back to Killingholme in an RAF water tender when it overturned and crashed though a hedge at Habrough. The driver, Corporal Dennis Ward, F/Sgt Jack Gordon Frankton and LAC J.A. Craigs escaped serious injury but Beesley was trapped in the cab and asphyxiated by the bodywork |
