À cet endroit, le 12 mars 1944, un Stirling de la RAF, touché par des tirs ennemis lors d'une mission au-dessus de ce territoire, s'écrasa. L'appareil et ces jeunes aviateurs périrent. Ils avaient donné leur confiance lors de la bataille pour la libération de la France.
Translation "At this place on 12th March 1944 an RAF Stirling, hit by eneny fire during a mission over this territory crashed. This caused the loss of both the aircraft and these young airmen. They had given their lieves in the battle for the liberation of France" |
