Operation | Calais- to bomb enemy strong points. 494 aircraft to attack various positions both at Cap Griz Nez and Calais, with approximately 50 aircraft being allocated to each target. None of the targets were particularly successful although circumstances were to render this largely irrelevant since the German garrison surrendered the following day. |
