Reason for Loss | Shot down by a night fighter (Ofw. Kreibaum of III./NJG11) NW of Krefeld. Crashed in flames by the bridge between Anrath and Viersen, with the loss of all onboard. Kreibaum himself was forced to bail out of his Bf109 shortly afterward, due to an engine fire. His Messerschmitt went down in the area between Anrath and Meersen. |
