Dutch author Bob den Uyl (1930-1992) witnessed this aircraft going down and narrated his experiences in his short story “De registratie van het verleden” (The registration of the past), chapter 2. In the story he states his admiration for pilot Tim Noël Partridge who saved many lives by deliberately crashing his aircraft in the water off the Noordsingel. |
