Brother to David Magnus Murray who killed on the 26th May 1941 aged 27 whilst serving with the NZ Infantry in Crete. Just over a year later, on the 22nd July 1942, the eldest brother, Gavin Allan Murray (32), a NZ Engineer, was killed at El Alamein. The three brothers were survived by a fourth brother and a sister. |
