| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Port outer engine failed and could not be feathered. Eventually the aircrew came off and struck then port inner engine and tore it from its frame. The other crew members baled out and were unharmed but F/O Matherly was found in the wreckage. Crashed ENE of Kettering |
