Operation | Railway Tunnels. 17 Mosquitoes, all from 5 Group to bomb the entrances to railway tunnels in the area between the Rhine and Ardennes, in an effort to disrupt the German supply lines. Low level bombing with 4000lb bombs fitted with short delay fuzes. 14 tunnels were attacked in this raid for the loss of 2 Mosquitoes. |
