Operation | Koblenz. 128 Lancasters, all from 3 Group. A successful raid with a large fire causing much of the damage in the centre of the town. A British survey estimated 303 acres (58%) of the town's built up area was destroyed. 104 people were killed but 25000 were bombed out of their homes. |
