Miscellaneous Information
Harry Levy was the sole survivor and passed away in 2016. He wrote a book entitled "The Dark Side of the Sky" which records the incident and his subsequent life as a Jewish PoW. Thanks to the professional courtesy paid to him by a Luftwaffe officer, he was treated as any other aircrew PoW and might otherwise have been sent to a concentration camp. |
