| Edmund went to school in Bristol and on leaving was employed as a clerk with Braby, a Bristol company, which manufactured grain silos and aluminium bulk storage tanks at Ashton. Edmund’s brother, Alan, joined the Royal Navy 13 days after his brother was killed. He survived the war, having served from October 1943 until 1946 as a Signalman. |
