Reason for Loss | According to Flight Magazine, died of injuries sustained on active service. It is possible that he died as a result of an explosion of a bomb as it was loaded into Fairey Battle L5528 on 27/7/40. Seven other personnel died instantly during this incident. It is possible that LAC Flynn sustained an injury to which he later succumbed. |
