Reason for Loss | Fifteen Blenheim aircraft from 110 Squadron weregiven orders to attack German warships in the harbour at Wilhelmshaven on Germany's north coast. The first wave of aircraft took the Germans by surprise but as this aircraft attacked in the second wave, return German fire hit his aircraft and he crashed into the bow of the warship "Emden". |
