Dédié à l'équipage du Halifax LL387, perdu dans la nuit du 18 au 19 juillet 1944. L'équipage était composé de sept personnes, dont six Britanniques et un Canadien. L'épave n'a jamais été localisée, mais des indices laissent penser qu'elle s'est amerrie au large de Saint-Pair-sur-Mer, probablement lors de son vol de retour.
Translation "Dedicated to the crew of Halifax LL387 lost during the night of 18/19 July 1944. The crew of seven consisted of six Britons and one Canadian. The wreckage has never been located, but evidence points to it having ditched in the sea off Saint-Pair-sur-Mer, probably on its return flight." |
