Reason for Loss | Hit by flak over the target and while at 21000', damaging the fuel supply lines. Subsequently hit over Namur by American anti-aircraft fire and the entire port side caught fire. The order to abandon was given but the aircraft spun into the ground before all but F/O G Ingram were able to comply. |
