Miscellaneous Information
Wyman was born at Toronto, Ontario on 28 March 1918. His father(who died 1939), was born at Brampton, Ontario and was a Dairy Man and his mother was born at Hanover, Ontario. He had one married sister, Reva Edna Irene Akey. He went to King Street school , Whitby 1929-1930 and then Whitby High between 1930 and 1936 (Matric). His only sport interest was occasionally wrestling. Wyman worked as a Dairyman with his father at Whitby 1936-1937 and then as a Dairy driver for E.A. Wakefield between 1938-1939. He then went to Toronto and worked with his father again as a driver, at Manor Park Dairy 1939-1940 until his father died, and then worked with his mother 1940-1942. He enlisted on 10 September 1942. |
