| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Attacked by a Me110 and also hit by flak. The Wellington was heavily damaged by flak, and the port engine was u/s after the fighter attack. Sgt G. Beresford RCAF bailed out and was killed. They made a safe return to RAF Coltishall on one engine. |
