Miscellaneous Information
This aircraft is quoted as being on the strength of 13 OTU is some sources and 110 Sqn in others. Langrish and Bailey were both posted in from 17 OTU on 9 November 1941 but were then attached to 13 OTU and posted supernumerary to 110 Squadron a matter of a few days later, on 13th November, pending an overseas posting. Ivens and Stanley, on the other hand, are not mentioned in 110 Squadron records at all, nor does Z7962 appear anywhere in the 110 Squadron Records of Events. Therefore, it would appear that 13 OTU is the correct unit. |
