Reason for Loss | Practicing night navigation sorties. Reported by coastguards to have crashed in the sea at 0150, some 3 miles off Lossiemouth on the Moray coast. Despite an extensive search, no bodies were recovered and all are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. |
