| Born 29 June 1922. He attended Plumtree School, Rhodesia from January 1937, leaving in December 1938 to join the Nyasaland Railways. He represented the School at athletics in 1937, and in Boxing in 1938, and took an active part in dramatics. He is on the Plumtree School Roll of Honour. |
