Reason for Loss | Bad weather was reported. Probable mid-air collision with ND957. Crashed at approxmiately 0015hrs at Le Coudray, Gemer, Gournay (wartime map reference 7207). They are buried with the crew of ND959 since the same team of USAAF medics attended both crash sites and then journeyed on to Villeneuve-St-Georges, where they were laid to rest on 25 January. |
