Reason for Loss | Airborne 2024. Shot down by a night- fighter and crashed into a swimming pool at Veldhoven (Noord Brabant), 6 km SW of Eindhoven. Three are buried in Woensel General Cemetery, while Sgt La Bossiere RCAF and Sgt Vinnicombe are now buried in the Canadian War Cemetery at Groesbeek. |
