Reason for Loss | The left-hand engine caught fire after the aircraft was hit by flak. The pilot, P.O. Stoffer, gave the order to abandon the aircraft. The six other crew members survived but he was killed. The aircraft crashed at Visgarde, 3km southeast of Tinglev in Denmark. |
