Miscellaneous Information
Skipper was F/O R H Knights. He and the other four surviving crew members were unharmed |
The ORB Record of Events states that this aircraft was LM319, which is incorrect. LM319 was never on the strength of 101 Squadron (it was a 100 Squadron machine). Furthermore "E" is listed as being LM417 in all other instances of the ORB and the Form 78 movement card lists LM417 as being Category AC damaged on 21st January 1944. |
