Reason for Loss | Abandoned by all but the pilot after 'friendly fire' incident. The crew members who baled out landed in the battle area but were soon in safe hands. Crashed in Liesville but the wreckage was not discovered until 1989/90 at Carquebut with Sarvis's body being recovered from the wreck for proper burial. |
