Reason for Loss | Crashed near Nieuwpoort in Belgium. The bomber exploded in a swampy area near the stone bakery Florizoone at the coastal municipality of Sint-Joris. The aircraft had to be winched off the ground by a local farmer using horses to recover the bodies. |
