Hier is op 24 Mei 1943 om 02.30 uur de Lancaster bömmenwerper W4861 PH-M van RAF 12 Sqn na een bombardement 'op Dortmund neergestort, waarbij 5 van de 7 bemanningsleden zijn omgekomen 2 overleefden de crash en werden gevangen genomen
Translation "Here, on 24 May 1943 at 02.30 hours, the Lancaster bomber W4861 PH-M of RAF 12 Sqn crashed after a bombardment on Dortmund, in which 5 of the 7 crew members were killed, 2 survived the crash and were taken prisone" |
