Miscellaneous Information
There is some doubt as to the veracity of his age as recorded by CWGC. A school photograph of George taken in 1935-36 suggests he was 13 to 14 years of age when the photo was taken. Also, a deceased family member claimed George was born in 1921, meaning that he would likely have been 23 when lost. |
