Miscellaneous Information
There is some uncertainty about the exact circumstances surrounding the collision of these two aircraft due to inaccuracies in the accident report, not least of which was that the two aircraft were confused with one another. W/O Lutwyche's son David states that his father probably survived the crash but died of drowning. Much of the research into the actual circumstances was undertaken by Alan Plume- the son of Sgt Plume who was killed on board T2701 |
