Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off from Elgin at 1002 hrs for a Navigation Task but the aircraft failed to return by its allotted time. Later the Coastguard Station at Colonsay reported seeing an aircraft falling into the sea on fire, bearing130 degrees and 6 or 7 miles towards Jura. There were no survivors |
