| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Abandoned after first being fired upon by a night fighter (Bf110) and then coned by searchlights, causing them to dive from 20,000 feet to 10,000 feet from which they were unable to recover. The order to abandon was given and the aircraft crashed on farmland near the Zandbos at the Helmondsweg in Deurne, Holland |
