Regional control, however managed to make contact with the Whitley but while trying to establish his position ,Sgt Halstead RCAF flew into a line of high -tension cables carrying 132k volts and crashed 1845 to the N of Hinton Waldrist and about 8 miles WNW from the town of Abingdon. |
