Reason for Loss | This aircraft was shot down over Holland by Willhelm Dormann flying an Me110. The plane crashed at Winterswijk Woold on the farm belonging to J. Prange. All the crew baled out but too low for their parachutes to open and all lost their lives. Derek Sheldon's body was never found and the enquiry concluded his body was lost in the attack. |
