Reason for Loss | According to the initial report, the aircraft hit a HT pylon at 01:33 and crashed at Welham, near Market Harborough, two minutes after takeoff. The crash location was subsequently amended by the court of inquiry to S.E. of Thorpe Langton. Recent metal detector activity has confirmed this to be the case. Additionally, the pylon adjacent to the crash site shows signs of repair at a height of approximately 20 feet. |
