| Reason for Loss | Aircraft was preapring to make its practice bombing run when a fire developed in the port engine. Shortly afterwards the engine was seen to fall from the aircraft and the aircraft went into a left-hand diving turn. Flames engulfed the aircraft before it crashed near Lambourn Berkshire. |
