Reason for Loss | Aberdeen Weekly Journal - Thursday 01 March 1945: Returning by motor cycle to home at Lochnabo Cottage, Blackhills, Lhanbryde, on Thursday night. Fit.[sic] F. Collie, R.A.F., met with an accident near Inchbroom, suffering severe head, arm and leg injuries from which he died in Gray’s Hospital, Elgin, later that day. Flt. Sg., Collie belongs to Ballindalloch district, and was married to a daughter of Mr Guthrie, gamekeeper, Blackhills. |
