Very unusual in not having been moved to a concentration graveyard. The men were left where they were originally buried at the request of the next of kin of the crew having been buried with full military honors by Luftwaffe personnel from the nearby Scleissheim airfield; founded in 1912 it is the oldest operational airfield in Germany. |
