Reason for Loss | Aircraft took off at 1101hrs for a cross country exercise. Aircraft flew into poor weather and in steadily worsening visibility crashed at 1226hrs into the side of a hill on Swindhope Common near Westgate, 16 miles SW of Consett, Durham. |
