Reason for Loss | Airborne 2000 Shot down by the same night- fighter that downed X3148 (Hptm Werner Streib, 1./NJG1) and crashed 2249 between Essel and Helden (Limburg), 12 km N of Roermond, Holland. The two airmen killed are buried with their Squadron comrades from X3148 in Jonkerbos War Cemetery.
