Miscellaneous Information
The wreckage of Lancaster PD268 was found 2013-14 when Horst Klötzer, a German aviation archeologist, excavated the aircrafts wreckage in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Ernest Mahr, younger brother of the specialist operator Rudolf Mahr has since visited the site, where a plaque now marks the exact location of the crash. |
