Reason for Loss | Dangerously injured in a collision between an RAF vehicle and a lorry on 7 March 1946 and was admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Removed from all lists on 10 April. He became seriously ill on 17 May and was transferred to RAF hospital Ely, where he died of pulmonary tuberculosis. |
