Madge Evelyn Lovering, W.A.A.F., aged 24, who, it was stated, was flung into the air while cycling. She was pedal-cycling over the crossroads from Mere Road towards Branston Mere at 10.30 a.m. on March 8, when, in a collision with a car travelling on the main road towards Lincoln, sHe was thrown, and received severe injuries and concussion, succumbing the same day. The jury returned a verdict of 'death by misadventure,' adding a rider that the crossroads barrier obscuring vision of traffic on the Mere Road and on the main road from Sleaford should be removed. |
