Reason for Loss | Attacked and damaged by a night-fighter flown by Ofw. Hans Rasper (5th claim) over the Ijsselmeer, 10km NE of Enkhuizen. Sgt. Allsop, Sgt Mills and Sgt Sharp were ordered to bale out by the pilot (Sgt. A. W. Rigling) over the sea near Texel but he subsequently regained control and made a successful return to base together with the Observer Sgt J. S. Cameron |
