Operation | Ludwigshafen- to bomb the railway yards. 160 Lancasters, all from 3 Group, 2 losses (1.3%). The railway yards were hit but so was much of the outlying suburbs. 535 houses and 87 industrial buildings were destroyed or badly damaged. 267 people were killed. |
