Miscellaneous Information
Joseph was born on 5 September 1920 at Québec. Both parents were born in Montreal and his father was an architect. The schools he attended were Francois de Laval, 1927-1938 (Primary), Ecole Des Beax Arts 1938-1940 (Drawing), and Montreal Tech School, three months (Machine Shop). Also one year of private courses in mathematics. The sport he engaged in was swimming, tennis and hockey. Joseph worked for Dominion Sprinkler, Montreal in Mechanical Drawing. He also had three years experience with his father in Architectural drawing. |
He enlisted on 2 July 1941 and after training, embarked on 8 July 1943 for the U.K. Arriving at 3PRC on 18 April 1943 he then went to 1664 CU 13 May 1943 and 425 Squadron 8 January 1944. |

Reason for Loss | Fell from the aircraft that he was refuelling and was seriously injured on March 27th, 1944. He died of his injuries a few days later. |
