He was the youngest of eight children. Both of his parents pre-deceased him. |
His brother, 5679686 Rank: W/Cpl Albert Francis Olding, served with the Somerset Light Infantry and survived the war. When he passed away his ashes were buried in Jack's grave in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery. They were the youngest of the eight siblings and had been very close. |
