Reason for Loss | Killed when Wellington Z1722 piloted by F/L W R Suggitt (later S/L) collided on landing with the service truck in which they were passengers. They were travelling across the runway and were killed instantly. The driver and one other were also injured. No aircrew hurt but the starboard engine and aircraft were seriously damaged. |
